Cancer is a long and hard journey, but you don’t have to walk the road alone. You will meet many good people who are there to help and guide you on the road. They will find you when you are least expecting it.

Who Are We?

The Swallows Head & Neck Cancer Charity

We support all people affected by head and neck cancers, patients, caregivers, friends, or relatives.

It is our intention for every person affected by head and neck cancer to have access to support at the point they need it, by the method of their choice, on a 24/7 basis.

Support Groups

We hold several monthly face-to-face Support Groups across the UK, along with a monthly virtual meeting which can be accessed across the globe. Information can be found on our website.

All our meetings give both patients and caregivers the opportunity to discuss their issues, seek new ideas and help problem solve what they are going through.

Every November we hold an International Head & Neck Cancer Conference where we bring together those affected by head and neck cancer, health professionals and inspirational speakers. To Book Your FREE tickets click the button below.

Literature

We have a full range of information leaflets, posters, and books to help people understand Head & Neck Cancer and to also help early diagnoses of the disease.

It is a proven fact that early diagnosis saves lives. Therefore, it is important to educate and inform people globally about, how to avoid such cancers, and how to look for warning signs that allow for early diagnosis and treatment.

Our website has been designed by patients and caregivers for patients and caregivers, you will find lots more information to help you with questions, information, and lots of patient & caregiver stories.

The Cancer Journey

Head & Neck Cancer Early Discovery…

In its early stages, Head & Neck Cancer usually has no symptoms, but eventually a malignant tumour will grow large enough to be detected.

As it continues to grow, it may press on nerves and produce pain, penetrate blood vessels and cause bleeding, or interfere with the function of a body organ or system.

early diagnosis can save your life…
… Look out for the warning signs

Fund Raising

£100 to us is like winning the Lottery,
so please remember…

‘Every pound counts!’

Our volunteers have completed a number of different events, from bag packs to 28km swims in the Lake District!

We are truly thankful to all the volunteers who have taken part in an event to help valuable funds for the charity.
